Little Ick gets his!!!

June 3rd, 2008 by Goliath

We’re visiting Oklahoma and I’m having so much fun. Little Ick is my cat. He was around when I was just a pup and he always kicked my butt! Well, now I’m a little bigger and I’m taking this opportunity to exact a little revenge.

I Love Presque Isle (& Harrisville)

August 26th, 2007 by Goliath

The first part of the trip has a real downer, literally! I was so freaked they gave me some doggy downers. I thought the boat was gonna break in two!

Well things have calmed down and I’ve seen some pretty nice places but I think so far, Presque Isle is my favorite (up until today anyway). I got to go for some long walks and they let me of that awful leash. I got to run and sniff all sorts of stuff. I chased a squirrel (that had no resemblance what so ever) and saw a couple of turkeys (other than those two nice people on the boat). It was great to be able to run.

Today we stopped at Harrisville Marina and wouldn’t you know, they dropped the hook instead of springing for a slip. I thought, here’s another day I get stuck on the boat cuz dad is too lazy to row the dink ashore since he lost the gas tank. I just about killed myself running up the companionway when I heard him get the dink ready to lower over the side. He actually rowed me over to a beach where we had a fabulous time, running and splashing in the water.dsc03141.JPG
His stock is going up!

About s/v Marylee

John bought a 23 foot O'day sailboat which he lovingly restored. We enjoyed sailing it so much that we bought a bigger boat, a 40 foot O'day. A couple of years ago we decided to plan for a retirement lifetime of cruising on the 40 foot sailboat. Now we are retired and we're underway on our lifetime journey on the 40 foot O'day. The 23 foot O'day is in good hands with the Fuller family.

Thank you all for your support. Please follow us along on our journey.
